Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.

When you open a page, the server automatically processes data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the page you came from. We need this data to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and stable operation. Log files are kept only as long as this requires.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS under Art. 28 GDPR.

Visitor statistics without cookies

To know which content people are interested in, our website counts: which page or section is opened (for example Shows or Services), roughly how long it is displayed, which link is clicked, and what kind of website you came from (for example TikTok or Instagram).

No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. IP addresses are not stored. We only keep daily totals on our server, such as “Services: 42 views”. These totals cannot be traced back to individual people. They are deleted after 13 months.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to shape our content around what our audience needs.

Contact form

When you send the form, our server emails your name, email address, subject and message to info@kababoy.com. The message is not stored in the website's database.

To prevent abuse, a non-reversible check value derived from your IP address is kept for 10 minutes. This lets us limit the number of messages.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. We delete your message once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.

Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp

When you write to us or call us directly, we process your details to answer your request. The same legal bases and deletion periods apply as for the contact form.

For messages via WhatsApp, WhatsApp's (Meta's) privacy policy also applies.

Our team works in Germany and in Cameroon. If your request concerns a project in Cameroon, we forward it to our team there. Cameroon is outside the EU. We share your data only as far as your request requires (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

Links to other websites

We link to our channels on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat, and to partners such as LemFi or fundraising pages. No data is sent to these providers before you click one of these links. Once you click, their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). To exercise them, write to info@kababoy.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
